The BMW XM is a high-performance hybrid SUV that breaks from tradition, so it’s only fitting that the launch film was equally as daring.
Our film is narrated by, composed by, and features six-time Grammy-nominated musician Christian Scott, aka Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah.
“Normal? What’s normal?” Chief asks as dramatic shots flash between glimpses of the XM and visuals references encompassing his career and style. “Watch as we take the best from the past and shape the future”- the lasting message.
Ambassadors was brought in by Berlin production company EASYdoesit and director Chehad Abdallah. I had the opportunity to Creative Direct the work from Ambassadors post and VFX perspective, working closely with Bas Moonen as VFX supervisor. My team concepted and designed all visual elements that were not shot on set, in camera.
